The Challenge

We’re back with a whole new birthday party mood and this time we have something special for you to design with! 

Our new holographic foil is the new addition to our foil colours and we can’t wait to see what you creatives can come up with. 

Simulate the elegance of the real foil and invoke in the fun party themes for this new Holofoil design challenge. We’re looking for quality and trendy new birthday invitations, think modern and unique shapes and typography while still keeping with our guidelines. An inspiration PDF file, along with our templates and paper options are provided in the designer kit. You can choose to design just one, or submit up to 4 new birthday invitation designs. Challenge guidelines 

- Work off templates found in the designer kit

- Save files as high quality JPEGs for submission

How to enter;

- Download the designer kit and follow it’s instructions

- Submit your designs through the design challenge page

- You will be notified when voting opens

- Support other creatives by voting on their designs

Judging Criteria: 

The winners and runners up are a mixture of public voting and the Paperlust judging team. The top five public voted designs will be assessed by the Paperlust creative and design team on the criteria of design quality, response to brief, technical considerations and saleability. 

 The Winners receive:

- 1st place will receive 12% commission on every sale for an entire year and professional photography of their designs

- 2nd & 3rd places will receive 10% commission on every sale for an entire year 

- Runner up designs (if selected) will be listed on Paperlust for sale as featured designs (receiving 6% commission on every sale)
