Printed Cards for Your Christmas List
Personalised Christmas cards are printed designs you make your own by adding your wording, and your own photo on photo-card layouts. They are ordered by people sending greetings to the family, friends and neighbours on their Christmas list.
Each custom order starts from a finished design such as Coral, a flat photo card with digital printing on single-sided Paperlust Matte. At 20 cards in the 178 x 127 mm size, the order total is A$110.40. A designer checks and proofs every order before it is printed.
Choose a Format for Your List
- Photo cards put your own photo into a design, which you upload in the online editor. The digital proof shows the photo in place on the card before anything is printed. See the photo Christmas cards range.
- Folded cards include Christmas Package, which is folded once, printed on both sides and can also be ordered flat.
- Postcards suit a shorter note. Home for Holidays is printed front and back and comes without an envelope.
Flat cards use a single panel, and Coral, Holly Jolly Christmas and Christmas Eucalypt are this format. Designs with a summer feel on this range include Beach Christmas, Dashing through the Sand and Christmas Eucalypt.
Print Methods for Each Card
- Digital printing is full colour and the quickest, lowest-cost method. Coral, Christmas Package and Home for Holidays are printed this way.
- Metallic prints a metallic gold pigment in line with full colour, giving a subtle shine that is less bright than foil. Holly Jolly Christmas uses it.
- Flat foil applies foil flat with no impression in the card. Christmas Eucalypt is offered in gold, rose gold or silver foil, and the foil Christmas cards range lists designs with this finish.

At 20 cards, Coral costs A$5.52 per card. At 50 cards, the price per card is A$4.14, which totals A$207.00 for the order. At 100 cards, the cost per card is A$2.80, so a personal card for every household on a longer list costs less per item. The full Coral order at 100 cards totals A$280.00. The quantity selector moves in steps of ten from 10 to 300, so you can match the order to your list.
Less Writing for a Long List
Printed Recipient Names
A different name printed on each card costs A$0.40 per card. You type the names into the online editor before ordering, and each card is printed with one name in place.
Printed Envelope Addressing
You can also have the recipient addresses printed on the envelopes. Black and white printing costs A$0.20 for each envelope, and colour printing costs A$0.35 for each envelope. The white envelope that comes with the cards accepts either black and white or colour addressing.
After you order, a designer checks the card and sends a free digital proof within 1 to 2 business days. You can request unlimited edits, but approved text errors are your responsibility, so check every name and address on the proof.
From Approval to Your Letterbox
Production starts once your final proof has your approval. The working days for each print method are in the table above, because digital printing and flat foil do not take the same time.
The Christmas cards are printed in Melbourne. Once printing is complete, StarTrack Premium delivers the order to you without a delivery fee. For a metro delivery address, the parcel is usually there the next business day after it has been dispatched. If your own address is regional or rural, allow more time for it to arrive. The parcel reaches the address you enter at checkout, and you then post the cards on yourself, so allow posting time after it lands.

A white envelope is included at no charge with Coral, Christmas Package, Holly Jolly Christmas and Christmas Eucalypt. If you want coloured or recycled envelopes, or a liner, those choices are listed as extra-cost options on the product page. Home for Holidays is a postcard, so it is sold without an envelope.
The minimum order is 10 cards, and that minimum applies across digital printing, metallic and flat foil, so it covers all five example designs on this page. Coral at 10 cards costs A$77.70 in total, or A$7.77 per card.
Order one card per household on the list, not one per person. Then round up to the next block of ten so you have a few spares for late additions or a spoiled card. A Coral order of 30 cards totals A$141.00, or A$4.70 per card. Adding those 10 cards to a 20-card Coral order costs A$30.60, while a separate later order of 10 Coral cards costs A$77.70.
Expedited production costs A$50 and is chosen at checkout. Coral and Christmas Package, both digital printing, move to 1 to 2 working days after proof approval. Christmas Eucalypt, the flat foil example, moves to 3 to 5 working days after proof approval. Holly Jolly Christmas and Home for Holidays do not offer this. Expedited orders are only available with white or recycled envelope selections, and delivery time comes on top.
No, the printed cards are what you order. The design is not supplied as a template for home printing. Instead, you edit the wording and place your own photo on photo-card layouts in the online editor before checking out, and Paperlust prints and delivers the cards to you.
Paper choices differ by design. Coral comes on Paperlust Matte, Luxe, Heavy or Matte Double T. Christmas Package and Home for Holidays both come on Paperlust Matte, Metallic, Luxe or Heavy. Holly Jolly Christmas comes on Paperlust Matte or Linen. Christmas Eucalypt is available on Paperlust Matte only. A sample pack helps you judge paper and print quality before you commit.
Every example on this page is 178 x 127 mm. Portrait or landscape is chosen on each design, and the size stays the same either way. Christmas Package can be ordered folded or flat, which changes the format rather than the dimensions.
A sample pack for A$5 shows the papers and print methods used across the range. For a chosen design, order one printed card as a custom sample for A$15. A swatch kit is A$20. All of them ship by regular post, and you can expect them in 5 to 7 business days.
Personalised orders are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. If the cards arrive with a print fault, the 100% Print Happiness Guarantee applies. Paperlust offers a reprint first. If a reprint is not suitable, the remedy moves to account credit or a refund. Claims need to be lodged within 30 days of dispatch, so check the cards when they arrive.
