The Challenge

A big Happy New Year to all you creatives! We know many of you have been waiting patiently for a new design challenge so here it is, our ‘New Year New Shapes’ design challenge for this year. Our past die-cut design challenges were so successful that we’re launching even more unique die cut shapes.
For this design competition we require 1x wedding invitation, 1x Birthday invitation and 1x engagement invitation. You can use any shape you like from the templates we’ve provided however the designs do need to be moderately cohesive. A mood-board and a complete set of instructions are provided in the designer kit along with the design templates and coloured stocks for you to choose from. Good luck & have fun!

Challenge guidelines:
- Work off templates found in the designer kit
- Save files as high quality PNGs for submission

How to enter:
- Download the designer kit and follow it’s instructions
- Submit your designs through the design challenge page
- You will be notified when voting opens
- Support other creatives by voting on their designs
Judging Criteria:
The winners and runners up are a mixture of public voting and the Paperlust judging team. The top three public voted designs will be assessed by the Paperlust creative and design team on the criteria of design quality, response to brief, technical considerations and saleability.
The Winners receive:
- 1st place will receive a 12% commission on every sale for an entire year and professional photography of their designs
- 2nd & 3rd places will receive a 10% commission on every sale for an entire year
- Runner up designs (if selected) will be listed on Paperlust for sale as featured designs (receiving 6% commission on every sale)
