Printed Invitations for a 21st Party
These 21st birthday invitations are printed cards for a 21st birthday party, chosen from the grid on this page and personalized online. The finished cards are delivered to a US address. The person turning 21 orders them, or a parent or friend hosting the party does. The Twenty One design uses digital printing on Paperlust Matte paper. It is a 178mm x 127mm (7 x 5 inches) card, printed on one side, and is $2.22 per card at 100 cards.
What the Cards Cost
This table compares four named designs at 100 cards each, on the default paper of each design and printed on one side. Premium white envelopes are included. US prices move with the exchange rate, so the amount you see on each product page is the current one.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Twenty One | 178mm x 127mm | Digital printing | Paperlust Matte | $2.22 |

The examples are 178mm x 127mm (7 x 5 inches), each offered portrait or landscape. Some designs on the grid are square, 147mm x 147mm. Each product page lists its size and papers.
21st Birthday Invitation Ideas
For 21st birthday invitations, the look comes from the type, a photo, the shine and the card color. These four ideas each turn one card design into a party look.
- Twenty One uses large pale gray brush lettering of the words Twenty One across the card. Party details sit in small dark type over it, and the card uses digital printing.
- The Whats My Age Again design prints white ink on colored card. Violet is the default, and the words twenty one appear in white handwritten script over a large faded 21, so the age appears twice.
- The Carrisa and the Groove photo card pairs a photo with flat foil. Your photo fills the top, and the invitation line and name below it sit in gold foil script with real foil, no impression.
- The Lets Party design uses a metallic shine. The words Let's party are in large gold script over soft pink and blue watercolor washes, and the gold pigment gives a subtle shine, less shine than foil.

What to Put on the Card
Your 21st birthday invitations carry who the party is for and who is invited, the theme or dress code, the date and time, the venue name and address, and a gift note if wanted. They also carry the reply date and how to reply. Type those details online and check them on the proof. The birthday invitation wording guide covers what to write.
Templates, Printables and the Custom Order
Many shoppers arrive looking for a template or a printable invitation online. These 21st birthday invitations are different. They are not a free download; you personalize a finished design online, and Paperlust prints it as a custom order. You receive printed invites to hand out or mail, not a file to print at home. Paperlust sends nothing to guests.
- Choose a design from the grid.
- Set the wording, font type and font size in the customizer. Upload a photo on photo cards, add guest names if wanted, and leave a special request note.
- Place the order.
- A designer sends a free digital proof and makes changes. The first proof arrives 1 to 2 business days after ordering, with unlimited rounds of edits. Special requests are made at the proof stage.
- Approve the proof. The cards are printed in Melbourne, then shipped to your address.
Timing, Shipping and the Party Date
After final proof approval, production takes 3 to 5 working days for digital printing, metallic and white ink, 7 to 10 for flat foil, and 20 to 23 for foil stamp and letterpress. Mixed print methods ship together, so the longest time applies. Delivery to the United States is by DHL, taking 2 to 4 business days after dispatch. Orders of $350 and over receive free shipping. Orders under $350 have a flat shipping charge of $27.50. Paperlust prepays import duties and taxes, so nothing is owed on delivery.
When you are planning 21st party invitations, work back from the party date through proof, production and delivery transit in that order. Approving the proof sooner starts production sooner. The order can wait until you confirm the date, with no penalty, if the party date is still open. When the date is confirmed early, send birthday save the date cards first, then plan the invitations.
Frequently Asked Questions
When the party is close and your order qualifies, the checkout page shows a rush option under the card's order details. Rush carries an added fee. Production then takes 1 to 2 business days for digital printing and white ink, and 3 to 5 working days for flat foil. Delivery transit time remains the same. Rush is not offered on foil stamp or letterpress.
Yes. Look for Add Guest Names at the top of the customize page. It works on photo cards and on digital printing, metallic, white ink and flat foil, with a small fee per card. You can keep updating guest names in My Order until you approve the proof for print.
Photo format cards such as Carrisa and the Groove take a photo. Add yours on the customize page. Paperlust does not adjust or edit the image in any way. The printed photo can look slightly different from what the screen shows, since monitors are calibrated differently.
The product page for Carrisa and the Groove lists four foil choices: gold, copper, pink and silver. A special request note on the customize page can ask for other colors, such as matte gold, rose gold, blue, green or holographic. The foil color can also be changed during proofing.
Yes. A sample pack costs $4 to a US address and contains seven invitation samples and one envelope, with foil and letterpress samples and a range of papers. It ships the same or next day after the order is received. A custom sample of your chosen design and paper is offered on Twenty One and Whats My Age Again.
All four designs include premium white envelopes with the cards. Choosing a colored envelope adds a cost. You can select envelope liners and printed guest addresses on the envelope page. Upload names and addresses after checkout, and printing waits until each address is confirmed.
The 100% Print Happiness Guarantee covers wrong, damaged or defective cards. Report within 30 days of dispatch; photos usually suffice. A reprint comes first, on the same item or another paper or print type of similar value, then account credit or refund. A proof-approved text error is not a print fault; Paperlust helps fix it and shares the reprint cost. Check every name, date and address on the proof.
