These printed save the date cards are for a wedding couple who wants guests to keep the date on a fridge, with wording personalized online and a magnet added later in the cart. The cards come to the couple, who can mail them.
For a first example, the Linear design is printed digitally on Paperlust Matte, measuring 140mm x 107mm, 5.5 x 4.2 inches, single-sided. At 100 cards, the card only price is $1.33 per card, and the same size with Pre-Applied Magnet Backing is $2.24 per card at 100 cards.
Two magnet additions
A magnet is added after you choose a design, not as part of the design itself. Each add-on is a separate item in the cart, so you can keep the card price and the magnet amount visible. Each add-on has a fixed price per card, and that same price applies at every quantity step. You choose the add-on quantity in steps of 10 to match the number of cards in your order. The two choices differ by who attaches the magnet.
- Pre-Applied Magnet Backing adds a magnetic backing to each card, and Paperlust attaches it before the order ships. You pay $0.91 per card.
- Magnet Stickers are self-adhesive stickers that you attach to the back of each card after the cards arrive, before mailing. You pay $0.20 per card.

- Linear uses digital printing for clean lines and calligraphy, and it is a minimalist option.
- Choose the Story of Us design if you want a photo layout with three photographs in a vertical sequence. It uses digital printing with a clean modern font for the card text. The colors include black, green, or red.
- Rosey uses Metallic Prints in peach tones.
- Rose et Gris uses flat foil for a minimalist, timeless layout.
Each design comes in portrait or landscape. The orientation is a layout choice, and Rosey is shown in the landscape orientation.
From proof to delivery
Your order is printed in Melbourne, and a designer checks a free digital proof. The first proof arrives 1 to 2 business days after ordering. You may request unlimited edits before approval begins production.
After final proof approval, digital printing and Metallic Prints need 3 to 5 working days. Flat foil needs 7 to 10 working days. Pre-Applied Magnet Backing adds 3 working days.
DHL delivers United States orders in 2 to 4 business days after dispatch. For save the date magnets, the couple can finish the magnet setup and mail the cards after they arrive. Frequently Asked Questions
For a magnetic setup, Pre-Applied Magnet Backing is not available for letterpress, foil stamp, or Vellum paper. Linear, Story of Us, Rosey, and Rose et Gris take either Pre-Applied Magnet Backing or Magnet Stickers.
The smallest card order is 10 cards, sold in steps of 10 up to 300. Match the add-on quantity to your cards. Pre-Applied Magnet Backing goes up to 300, and Magnet Stickers up to 250. For Linear, $5.26 per card at 10 cards compares with $1.33 per card at 100 cards.
For the save the date magnets example, Linear, the card only amount is $1.16 per card at 200 cards, the same at 300 cards. At 200 cards, Magnet Stickers bring the amount to $1.36 per card. At 200 cards, Pre-Applied Magnet Backing brings the amount to $2.07 per card.
Each design includes one premium white envelope per card. Cards ordered with Pre-Applied Magnet Backing arrive with the magnetic backing already on the back. Cards ordered with Magnet Stickers require you to apply the stickers to each card.
