From <strong>August 29, 2025<\/strong>, all commercial shipments entering the US\u2014no matter the value\u2014are subject to import duties and standard customs processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What this means for Paperlust orders<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tariff rate on Paperlust goods:<\/strong> Our products are <strong>made in Australia<\/strong>. Under the current US \u201creciprocal tariff\u201d framework, imports from Australia are subject to the <strong>baseline 10% tariff<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Who collects the tariff:<\/strong> Paperlust ships to the US with <strong>DHL Express<\/strong>. DHL acts as our customs broker and will contact you directly to collect any duties <strong>after we dispatch<\/strong> and <strong>before delivery<\/strong>. (This mirrors how VAT is collected for UK\/EU deliveries.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Applies to all orders to the US:<\/strong> The removal of de minimis means even small orders that were previously duty-free may now incur duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When does this start?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Orders <strong>dispatched on or after August 29, 2025 (US time)<\/strong> will be processed under the new rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How much will I pay? (simple example)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If your Paperlust order value is <strong>US$300<\/strong>, the indicative tariff is <strong>10% = US$30<\/strong> (final amounts are confirmed by US Customs\/DHL at clearance).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depending on the shipment and customs processing, additional government fees may apply.
