Our Favourite DIY Paper Flowers

Paper flowers are all the rage these days. Whether you’re applying a little DIY elbow grease to your wedding day, or creating some sustainable blooms for the home, we’ve picked out some of the loveliest tutorials to help you craft the day away.

Cascading Paper Flower Garland

We love Lia Griffith’s Cascading Paper Flower Garland tutorial. Just in time for spring (ok, maybe we are dreaming a tiny bit), this garland would be a perfect spring party backdrop, or as an instant pick me up for a bare wall at home.  Lia uses a beautiful light, bright and shiny colour combination of cream, pale yellow and pale green with metallic sheen.

Here’s Lia’s tutorial and free, printable flower templates to help with your cut outs.

Big, bright and beautiful. these DIY pink and red ombre flowers by Green Wedding Shoes are easy to make, and even easier to love. We love that they use crepe paper – it’s hard to find a paper more festive than crepe paper!

Crepe Paper Anemones

The creators of this DIY project put the elbow grease in so you don’t have to. They figured out how to make these beautifully detailed, but still very doable.
